X discussion: Zerodha CEO Nithin Kamath asks what traders are building with free Kite APIs and AI coding agents
On Oct 26, Zerodha founder and CEO Nithin Kamath asked on X how people are using Kite APIs with AI agents now that they are free, and what they have built. He said AI coding agents such as Claude Code and Codex have made it much easier for traders and investors to build their own tools without much coding experience, and that Zerodha is seeing more Kite API usage because of these agents. Within about 10 hours the post drew more than 2,200 likes, over 2,000 bookmarks and 200+ replies. This is an X discussion and the CEO's own view, not a new product launch.

Beacon open-sources cross-harness self-improving memory: Jev scores runs into reusable skills
@_avichawla covered Beacon by Asymptote Labs (github.com/Asymptote-Labs/agent-beacon): a cross-harness memory layer for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, and 20+ more. It captures full session history, uses Jev to score evidence/reuse/human-correction signal, and promotes high-signal workflows into reusable skills so lessons transfer across harnesses.

Kimi apologizes for K3.1 Pro plan rate limits and wasted quota, gives every subscriber a one-time 25% monthly quota reset and trims subagent calls and output length
At 20:14 UTC on 2026-10-25, Moonshot AI's official account @Kimi_Moonshot (post) acknowledged rate limits and unnecessary quota consumption on the K3.1 Pro subscription plan, saying "these were our issues, and we should have fixed them sooner." Every subscriber on every plan gets a one-time usage reset that restores 25% of their monthly quota (usage below 25% resets to zero), equal to about one week of usage; usage bars update by end of day PST. Kimi also adjusted the plan's parameters and is cutting unnecessary subagent calls and output length so quota lasts longer.
